Volunteers and Volunteering
Volunteers play a crucial role in any charitable organisation.
At Sharing Voices we recognise that volunteering is a mutually beneficial process.
Volunteering offers an opportunity for people to learn and be supported, it enables people to:
- Support others through befriending and listening
- Volunteer whilst learning about an area of interest
- Help raise funds and resources for the charity by organising events
- Volunteer whilst being supported and given opportunities to learn in a systematic manner
- Support the charity to develop and grow so that more people can ultimately benefit from its work
At Sharing Voices we welcome volunteers. We provide a thorough induction and supervision process which enables volunteers to obtain the most from their experience. If you are local to Bradford then please call to arrange a visit, alternatively if you would like to support the work of Sharing Voices but live further afield, please still get in touch and we can discuss other possible ways in which you could support our work.
