Services for Young People

Services for Young People

We support young people (13-24 years of age) around a range of issues that may impact upon their mental health and wellbeing, such as bullying, family issues, abuse, cultural and traditional challenges and social media. We do this in a range of different ways, including one to one support, group sessions, peer support, befriending and buddying and other wellbeing activities.

We currently work in partnership with schools in Bradford & Keighley offering 1to1 support for students, supporting them and schools to engage with external agencies to raise awareness. We provide support around the importance of positive mental health, inform schools on resources and services available for young people.

We also work with other local partners and service providers such as CAMHS, Barnados, NSPCC and faith institutions.

We also deliver support training for different teams working with children and young people to understand the importance of identifying and working with risk and resilience factors that may increase or decrease the likelihood that a young person would develop a mental health issues and also work closely with services for children and young people to bridge the gap between education, health & home and add BME perspective or voice to existing initiatives and services.
